Tips for those getting gigabyte 8800gt turbo force edition

make sure you insist on zalman (rev 1.0) fan... the older zalman vf700 is known to be having lotsa overheat issues...

the latest revised model is using zalman vf830.. you can check this out by looking at the box sticker with GV-NX88T512HP REV 1.0. The box may display Zalman VF700.. but the physical card itself is using Zalman VF830. Best bet is to check the sticker first.

maybe you try to underclock the memory to 920 instead of 950.. somehow it helps..

or you can try adding ram heat sinks
