Any good DVD titles you guys watched and wanna recommend? I'm particularly interested in music documentaries("METAL", "Some Kind of Monster"...), but anything will do. You can list all that you have seen here, don't care it's western, eastern, classics or whatever, and highlights those that are good or bad, maybe add some comments as well. Thanks and Merry Xmas to y'all! biggrin.gif

here's a few that I've watched:

Some Kind of Monster: doco about Metallica before they release St Anger, awesome, up, close and personal stuff you don't get to see often.

METAL, A Headbanger's Journey: doco about METAL music in general, the Norwegian black metal interview part is kinda funny.

24 hour Party People: About thew whole Manchester music upheaval, stuff like Joy Division, Blue Monday..

You can try Amazon.com or Tower.com
About 10 USD for the Dvd and 5~10 USD for shipping (tower.com)

But don't buy too many at one go or else you may get slapped with 30% tax

GUITAR WARS finds guitar virtuosos Paul Gilbert (Mr. Big), Nuno Bettancourt (Extreme), and Steve Hackett (Genesis) collaborating with Led Zeppelin bass player John Paul Jones.

Japanese import with bonus DVD.

no wonder its import...
