So has anyone got ban for their modded fan before jumping on the hatewagon?? This is still just rumour & theory, banning over voltage is pretty...hard, what about places with fluctuating supply voltages.

What i heard is US pro-gamers Fatality got ban from Xboxlive, and Microsoft is in the process of unbanning people due to 'massive feedback'.

If one can understand how the Microsoft banning works i wouldn't have start going legit on 360.

Yup there is a reason i said that because it happen to me. My 360 3ROD 2 weeks ago due to fluctuate voltage in my old house. My PC video card also spoiled few months back. Not to mention the enourmous amount of lightbulb i've changed. Now move to new house.
Just got my 360 back yesterday from service center, not ban or anything. (changed motherboard & Dvd drive...very quiet now.)
If fan mod will result in banning, 60% of local users will be ban, so has anyone with fan mod but no firmware mod gotten ban yet?

I just think it's abit bizzare to believe this because it's unproven and remain a fan's theory (only one source). Until it's proven, better keep things optimistic like last time how ten of thousands people complaining to MS customer service that they didn't mod their console and get ban (which in the fact is not true).
The unban to banned console cases are confirmed though...
