This show is one of legend of super robot genre from director Tadao Nagahama trilogy.

1. Combatler V
2. Voltes V
3. Tosho Daimos

Very old school, so the animation is very dated. Younger generation will find it off putting, veterans will remember it fondly. Very cliched, very cliched indeed just like how Nadeisco Gekiganger make fun a parody out of it.

Wow still remember watching it in Malay dub on TV1 or TV3 (forgot) back in late 1980ish.

It also rock on the SRW series,still remember i start playing SRW cause i saw it appear in SRW4 in SFC/SNES back then.
