Hi,

I have a problem with a k810i i bought in January 2008. Was using fine all this while until it started to behave very strangely on Saturday.

First, it shows a white screen for about 3 seconds in the middle of whatever that i do, e.g. call, music, camera etc etc

Then, it restarts itself without asking for PIN and back to standby screen.

So, i started using it again, but the white screen came back again and again (few times in 10 minutes).

I tried to do a Master Reset but that didnt solve the problem. I tried resetting without my Memory Stick but the white screen is back.

Can i know what is wrong with the bloody phone? Kind of fed up. It's ORIGINAL by the way, and only been using it for 2 months.

Really need help here. I don't want to send it to the Service Centre as it's far away from where i live.

    Erm, i'm planning to get a brand new K810i very very soon, was just wondering whether it might be worth it get the phone as such a time * friend recommended k850i, but i dun like the bulky design and it's still pricy*?

    Oh ya, and are the themes in k810i as beautiful as those i see in the W series, like my friend's w580i like that de? And is slotting a 2GB m2 inside laggy for the phone?

    Anything specific that you guys might wanna let a new user of Sony Ericsson know or any advice on it? Currently using a N73 ME, first time trying out SE =3

you know what, just now i've just activate maxis 3g by pressing *136#...then a couple hour l8er, i restarted my phone by turning it on, suddenly a new unknown symbol appered on the top left screen next to the coverage meter (blue and white colored parabolic shape)...izit normal? i mean is it signified that my 3g was activated? jus curious....

Yes..the 3rd piece is to protect the camera cover. Actually I find the camera pics only so-so, not as good as a real 3.2mp compact digicam. The optical lens is so much smaller than in a real camera. Better pictures means bigger lens..No 2 ways about it. We shouldn't be taken in too much by the "Cybershot" branding on a phone.

anyone~ i've seen sumbody mod their k810 menu like the flash menu on w-series n on k850..
it's kinda cool..

Now I got 2 phones to play play.. K810i and K850i.. but K810i is still damn good!..no regrests.

any 1 try the TV adv on maxis's service tat can upload pic anytime , anywhere? i think is it call fliker or someting similar?
