I would like to share something with you all.
I just bought the phone yesterday, and I screwed up after flashing the firmware that provided in the 1st place. I keep on getting "Configuration error" after flashing the phone. And after googled hardly, I found out the solution. I got latest firmware, which is R8BA024, and I get to use Chinese input. Okay here is how you do. QUOTE 01. Download XS++ 02. Download the Main and the FS HERE 03. Off your phone, take out the battery, and put it back again 04. Start XS++, press Connect 05. Hold on 'C' button, and connect the phone via USB cable 06. Extract both then Main and the FS to desktop. 07. Check 'Flash Main Firmware', and locate 'K810_R8BA024_MAIN_TAIWAN_SM_RED52.mbn' you've extracted 08. Check 'Flash File System', and locate 'K810_R8BA024_FS_TAIWAN_RED52.fbn' you've extraced 09. Check 'Customize File System', and under 'Select Phone Model', choose 'K800', and under 'Select CDA and Region', choose 'HONG_KONG (CDA102511/85)', and click 'Flash' 10. Wait 11. Still waiting 12. After done flashing, unplug your phone, take out battery, put it back, and on. 13. You should have latest firmware, with Chinese input. p/s: any problem occured please drop me a PM, I will reply ASAP. This post has been edited by Shufflerz: Feb 6 2008, 10:45 AM |

QUOTE(ssyy @ Feb 19 2008, 04:59 PM) hi im new here.. currently im using w850i but it spoils so many times.. thinking to change phone, but im really hoping for a phone with good sound quality via speakers or headsets.. this phone is one of my choices cuz of its nice looks n big screen + 3G which existing in my current w850i.. any opinion? thx =) For sound, you can always swap to other sound driver via customizing tools like FAR Manager, SE Tools, XS++, and etc.Spend sometime, do some research, and you'll get the solution. My current K810i is on par with stock W series in both the speaker and earphone. This post has been edited by Shufflerz: Feb 20 2008, 02:16 PM |
