tested my self...no chinese as well...after tat send to SE..then they flash 4 me....got chinese input...but im not as happy as AngelSlayer.....posted same msg many time...& oso repeat 1...

yap...ori R8 (not own self download / update using SEUS) come wf chinese input...
cos i remember the tech / engineer say....he oso dont know y custermer install / update own...dont have any & they update got chinese...but is same version...

nop...free of charge...mayb my unit still under warranty..

frenly chinese tech support oso...helpful...

first, in wat condition / lighting condition u use the flash to take pic? more detail is needed...
jus to share..if it is really dark (not too dark lah..)...u can try use twilight portrait mode to snap it, is the best mode if not much light & the object is not too far....

btw, wana ask u guy c u guys face this kind of pobem or not...
i facing this pobem after go to SE service centre upgrading my software to R8...
pobem as below:
1, Wap & MMS
- after update software, i call maxis to send over the setting, after tat i jus follow wat tat need to do after received, install & switch off & on it back, then go internet & send our mms to activate the services...but after off & on, all the setting seem to be missing part of it...& i was try like 3 times then oni able to solve this pobem....

2, Bluetooth
- after tat upgrade, i have paired my bluetooth & PC 4 files transfer...then i take out my battery....all setting gone...it seem like cannot save the setting into my phone....

3, Sound setting
- i have been set all sound to max volume...after tat battery taking out....it back to default.....

- yesterday i take out the sim card to use my backup phone due to battery run out....all above pobem return again bcos i take out my battery.... i have try 1 time, fail...then ask them send 2nd time & after install I still not off & on my phone yet..the wap & mms seem to be working....scare to off it...later all setting gone....
thinking of going SE service center to let them check....
any 1 face this pobem?

call to SE service center...they ask me to send in to flash the software again.... cos they say the bluetooth, mms & wap setting cant write into the phone or cant save into phone as default setting....

cos after i upgraded my software...i feel it oso...previously feel mayb me too many thinking...but after u show tis pic...then i think the latest cam driver not as good as previous 1...
but can any 1 clarify the cam driver between R8 & previous version?

Added on January 17, 2008, 9:58 amwelcome....actually u can off the orange/red light buy turning to some of the mode using keypad number 4....it will change to macro....then the sleeping 8....this mode wont have any orange/red light showing...but no focus mode is available....
