hello guys
i just got my n96 last week.
but i never change/ugrade the firmware. any suggestion on uograding the firmware? must i do that? right now, the only problem i noticed is that no navi wheel function. i looked into help content, but still cannot enable it.
the first thing i asked the 'penjual' is, show me nokia's phone with navi wheel and he recomended me n96. but then, now i feel like being cheated!

i still have not updating my firmware(10.065)
but if i update, will it enable the navi wheel? i also notice that others has problem with 3-d tone,mine too.when i turned on the 3d tone, my ringtone volume sounds very low.
one more, from n96 review on webs, it is said that n96 support avi files. i put an avi file inside, but cannot play. what's wrong?

hi, i just found new problem. actually i just reallized that i cannot online via wlan. the funny things is i topuped rm50 just to update the firmware using 3g connection and u know what, about 85% the download completed, connection lost. insufficient credit. know i have to re topup again.. aiseh.. whats wrong with nokia. they privide WOW specs inside thier web. but then the actual product really made me kecewa.. anyone got the same problem with me. care to share any solution?

i topup rm60 just to update the firmware. i did it, but it seems like nothing different. rm60 for 5 megabyte file. this is madness.
but the wlan connection problem is still the same.
any news from others?

but i really hope the wlan prob will be solved in future. that is 1 of the main reason i buy n96. by the way can u feel any different after updating the new firmware?

i still got problem with wlan. right now im staying at kampus, so the internet coonection very suck. that's why i didn't update the firmware via sofware updater.

okey, so there is an application inside my phone called mobitubia for downloading youtube file. but until today i still cannot use it. and about the avi file, anyone can play avi file inside their phone?
N96 is still young, just give it a chance to grow. hehe:D

about nokia video converter, how about the quality of the converted file? same resolution? i mean the aspect ratio? i scan my folder, but it wont detect *mkv file. is there any addtional plugin to download?

another very important thing, my n96 dont have push to talk function.
so sad;(

why u want to convert flv videos to mp4?
is it because of the size? i think flv is smaller than mp4. i think you alrealy know, but to others, our n96 can play flv video. but cannot open directly from video center. to open flvs, open application->media->real media->video clips. after that, you can choose any flv video you stored b4. hehe.

so far. what i noticed :
verticle stanby mode's shortcut is extended, cool!
new theme: n96_special
wall paper can be changed automatic,like power saver, this very2 cool:D

BTW, i really satisfied with n96 battery compared to n85 & n81.

nah.. i dont need up to 5 days used than recharge. nokia provide us car/ travel charger. so no problem if the battery depleted. just find suitable port and charge it. i owned n85, but sold it and topup somemore to get n96.

waahh! latest of the latest firmware for n96 is out edi. just woke up from sleep,saje gatal2 mau check the firmware. im downloading it now.hehe;p
