hi, i just found new problem. actually i just reallized that i cannot online via wlan. the funny things is i topuped rm50 just to update the firmware using 3g connection and u know what, about 85% the download completed, connection lost. insufficient credit. know i have to re topup again.. aiseh.. whats wrong with nokia. they privide WOW specs inside thier web. but then the actual product really made me kecewa.. anyone got the same problem with me. care to share any solution?

i faced the same problems...can't detect and connect to wifi...supposed updating the firmware through OTA but wifi can't be detected...
so,need to update using cable...but around 3-4times failed to download completely the new firmware...now,even with the new firmware,wifi still unusable and will hanged...
from what i see...updating using cable,the fail size kind-of very very big...119MB...or using OTA the size is the same or other way?...

i topup rm60 just to update the firmware. i did it, but it seems like nothing different. rm60 for 5 megabyte file. this is madness.
but the wlan connection problem is still the same.

yups!..updated to the latest firmware...but the wifi issue haven't solved yet...so disappointed...
my advice...better you sync with PC Suite...using USB cable and download firmware from your PC/notebook...save your money,no need to waste just to update firmware...

the differences from what i see...more of performance and sound better and other kindly the same...till now no big or serious usage yet...
but still faced 2-3 times phone hanged...that's another big disappointment...

I have to say I like N96 too before it was launched. My wife wanted to buy it as well. But after we tried it in showroom, its another story. I think it will become a bit like M600/P990.

I've just purchased a N96 a few days ago (AVAXX). No problems with the firmware updating (I did it via Nseries PC Suite while connected to my laptop, and my laptop was connected online via Wireless LAN).

I've also been able to access and surf the web and check email via WLAN without difficulties or connection problems.

Overall, I'm very pleased with it.

i just have some battery problem, it drains very quickly, emptied my battery just in one day! i did not leave any running app in the background on idle...

there you go...a BIG support from SUPPA phone collector...don't play~play with him...

that's the problem...up till now,still confuse,everytime when searching for wifi,half-way surely hanged...previous and latest firmware also like that...

i still got problem with wlan. right now im staying at kampus, so the internet coonection very suck. that's why i didn't update the firmware via sofware updater.

okey, so there is an application inside my phone called mobitubia for downloading youtube file. but until today i still cannot use it. and about the avi file, anyone can play avi file inside their phone?
N96 is still young, just give it a chance to grow. hehe:D
