Bang, VID tu tak berubah la.Mmg datang original dgn processor.
Ko try la ubah ubah FSB, ko tgk sendiri yang VID tu takkan berubah langsung.
Determine your C2D is overclockable or not, CPU right mark

QUOTE(gsan @ Dec 23 2007, 02:34 AM) come on bro, oc it kaw kaw la Patience man, waiting for my new motherboard.I can't go anywhere with this IP35-E. Still deciding on which motherboard to buy. So many choices. 1. Abit IX38 Quad GT 2. Asus Maximus Formula SE 3. Abit IN9 32X Max WiFi <-- The weakest in OC'ing. Sheesh, Why do i include this board in the list? Probably because it has what i need, the third PCI-E Slot. 4. DFI Lanparty DK P35 <-- Yeah, This one is the best in oc'ing, but the bad part? Getting it is so hard! 5. EVGA 680i SLi Rev. A1 <-- The most expensive! |

Some update with my newly bought EVGA 680i SLi Rev. A1. It seems that the Maximal Req. Vcore will stay the same even if you change the board.

QUOTE(Izwan898 @ Jan 9 2008, 05:22 PM) should be more overclockable compare to other 1.35v E6550. QUOTE(NightRaven @ Jan 9 2008, 05:42 PM) it is not the current vcore of your proc |

I actually don't think the VID has anything to do with overclockability overally. It only means there's a higher chance of the processor being able to clock higher with less voltage as it started off to be stable at the same speed across the same processors with less voltage.
