QUOTE(skylinegtr34rule4life @ Feb 18 2008, 03:15 PM) Thats ok, I bought a Gigabyte P35 DS3L aleady. So .... now waiting for the right candidate for my Proc. Either E8400 or Q6600. Price wise, not much diff As i can get the Q6600 around 900 and E8400 around 700++ RM Which one do you guys think more better for today's Apps and Games? PS : I have found a suitable buyer for my AMD Proc and Mobo |

more & more games and applications are optimized to use 4 cores within a year or more
games = dual core applications = quad core if you wan to have high frame rates in games now or maybe until 2009 go for E8400 and OC till 4Ghz above~~ reviews already proved that quad cores still loses to dual core in terms of gaming. if you wan to edit photos, videos, folding etc etc base applications then you should go for quad cores because these applications now are utilizing all 4 cores anyway the choice is in your own hand |

I juz know that E8400 (dual core) is better than Q6600 (quad core) in gaming. What cpu cooler u use to 100% overclock the E8400. |

Can't wait to pair it with my Xigmatek.. Any tips on how to apply Thermal Paste for Intel? |
