if im using a computer LCD monitor specifically HP w2207h which supports HDMI ... and i wanna get a ps3

is there anywhere which sells switches so i can switch between PC and PS3 usage?

arghh i WAS contemplating on a switch ... but i cant stand having to switch between pc and ps3

im looking at the sony KLV-40S550A which has that 50hz thingy ...

is it really necessary to have 100hz and above for gaming? especially ps3?

ive did a search and read some posts here ... and i guess some of the comments that came out was that the 100hz was really subjective and it might not matter?

im pairing my sony bravia klv-40s550a with my sony ps3 and a non-monster hdmi cable ... but it costs me rm119 for once of those nice packings called ICIDU from ALL IT

sometimes when i start up my ps3 ... the screen is blank ... so i did the hold on button to reset the video ... and the screen came up ...

but sometimes it goes blank midway when im going thru the menu .... after 'warmed up' for 5-10 mins ... then no more blanks ... can anyone tell me whether is it a setting problem or a tv problem or a hdmi cable problem or a ps3 problem?

managed to get it working ... cable was faulty ... changed to Xtrememac cable

isit just a couple of hundred? i remember like 40' 50hz and a 32' 100hz is priced around the same price. ... but i think 40' 50hz and a 40' 100hz is like at least rm1k diff

note: the tvs i mentioned above are all full hd

is there like a proper calibration guide for the tvs??

i have no idea man ... i bought the Sony KLV-40S550A ... open and just play ps3 on it only ...

didnt do any calibration ....

care to teach?
