I'm getting a ps3 soon.. but the only problem is i don't have the so called "HDTV" . so i was wondering if my pc lcd monitor can be a replacement for a tv instead... if so how do we connect it to the ps3..is there a special wire that i need to get? where can i get it??

Other then that..can anyone recommend me a good pC lcd/or whatever monitor that is cheap and looks good for the ps3.. the inch don't matter

According to a friend of mine..he'd recommend getting a HDMI->DVI cable/adaptor..that is if you're planning to use the HDMI output..

If I'm not mistaken..if you're using this method..you've gotta be sure that your LCD monitor supports HDCP (google it up)

Or you could always use a LCD Box (Or something like that) to convert the normal composite video output to your monitor's VGA input

Btw..this should be in the Playstation forum..lol

This is as much as I know..there's probably better or alternative methods//
