Just bought 42" plasma for my father- Panasonic Vierra Plasma. RM3000 at SenQ.

For Astro - ok laa

For games - not try yet.

But worth buying

Ok ker kalau pakcik beli 50" Panasonic Plasma.. Just to make sure good also for Astro and PS3. Now using LCD..

Just saw 42" sony on LCD, looks better , plasma.. never see before.

There s a pepatah about LCD

Buying 37" is like buying a 32", therefore just buy 32"
Buying 46" is like buying a 42", therefore just buy 42"

Buying 50" is like buying a the whole LCD, therefore just buy 50"

Guys... anyone using , buying , planning to buy 50" > . Im considering Panasonic Plasma 50" , but this model is not good for gaming on HDMI. Any suggestion

Anything that value for money, and worth it. Currently no model interested ? . Panasonic 50" Plasma=RM5K ... seems ok, but old model

HD quality tak...

Go for Samsung, clearer and brighter.. Yesterday just bought 1 more 32" Toshiba LCD Regza.. cannot compete (display) with Samsung 32" Series 4.

Buy korean made, or Japan Made like Sharp.
Samsung is around RM2,800 but comes with 32". I will not go for Toshiba anymore.

it is 100Hz and 200Hz,

kalau 50Hz can get Panasonic 42" Plasma for RM2300 nowadays..

100hz is good, i played Heavy Rain with 50hz LCD , some how flicker during the game. might buy a new LCD again..

This is my advice.
- if you want to save on the home theater better go full set of LCD with audio
- Korean made is better lighting than Japan made, except Panasonic,Sony
- Try to invest on 100hz or above, just add few hundreds for better quality picture
- Good sound comes out from Toshiba LCD , but not good picture quality
