it's possible that's just a sample pic of foreign model or the HDMI port isn't wired. just don't bet on it, if it does have then consider yourself lucky, if not, just don't brag

QUOTE(unrealweapon @ Sep 7 2008, 02:22 PM) hi wanna ask.. anyway to improve PS2 image tru Composite on LCD TV ? graphic is better on my SDTV.. Of course it better on SDTV. I can guide you how to get the best image on your LCD TV, not only for PS2, but Wii also, or just about anything else. If you are prepared to spend RM2XX that is, which is worth it in my opinion. PM me (and those money is not for me, I'm giving you a guide for free, nothing goes to my pocket).

QUOTE(Mitsuki @ Sep 7 2008, 10:49 PM) i guess the dell S2409W doesn't have 16:9 ratio as well. what bout samsung T240. i can't seem to find the ratio tho are you sure? 1920/120 = 16 1080/120 = 9 thus 1920:1080 = 16:9 if (1920:1200)/120 = 16:10

QUOTE(yuktsi14 @ Sep 13 2008, 09:41 PM) nonono but sony has the best tecnology japanese are the IT genius I don't doubt Japanese's abilities in technology, but make sure you know how Sony operates and their products' performance (in this case for their LCD TVs) before saying they are the the best Many people will agree with you on one thing though, if you are super rich buy the X xeries or the S series, since they are priced with high premium This post has been edited by gundamalpha: Sep 14 2008, 01:27 AM

depending on the quality of the box really. many people complain how terrible boxes are yet when i introduce them a good VGA box they are scared away with the price. just Rm300 for a good quality one and yet they would rather spend rm200+ for a garbage since cheaper

QUOTE(sunn @ Jan 10 2009, 08:34 AM) Thanks htkaki, Anyway, the price now is back to RM6400. That previous price was after much bargaining. I just found out Monster HDMI cable cost about RM1400. Darn expensive. They say I will see the difference on the PQ. Don't tell me you fall for that Added on January 16, 2009, 4:49 pmQUOTE(maui&sons @ Jan 16 2009, 02:54 PM) i have use dvi-hdmi converter n dtuck it at my dvi lcd. but the prob is, no visual appear.. help me to solve it tq Make sure your LCD is HDCP compatible This post has been edited by gundamalpha: Jan 16 2009, 04:49 PM

QUOTE(manai @ May 16 2009, 11:14 PM) guys, im using ACER X203H connected to my ps3 and somehow it says input not supperted, no display. im connecting it using the HDMI-DVI cable for video and sound with the RCA cable provided with the PS3. can anyone help me so i can get display on my monitor? Most probably your monitor isn't HDCP compatible, meaning no PS3 for that monitor for you, nothing you can do

QUOTE(SSJBen @ May 19 2009, 02:03 AM) Don't need VGA box. You can use a VGA - RGB(component) converter. PS2 does support component inputs. There are many 24" LCD monitors that has VGA, DVI, and HDMI. Go do some research. But not all PS2 games can run on progressive mode.. it can be done with such simple way if the monitor supports 15kHz vertical frequency, but I doubt it can.

QUOTE(Holyboyz @ May 20 2009, 07:19 PM) err whats the adapter i need to get audio on my ps3 if im plugging it into my monitor? i should get a female one right? but whats the name for that adapter.. anyone mind telling me? thks sry this may sound abit noob/rude but i really wana get sound on my ps 3 lol I assume you are using HDMI/DVI for display at the moment? You can get the sound out through the AV cable that comes with your PS3 purchase (Red and white for stereo sound) or getting digital sound through optical cable (sold separately).

QUOTE(amduser @ Jun 19 2009, 10:53 AM) if you want to know more about the spec and stuff like progressive scan or whatever, go google and type define "1080p" dont rely on those promoter, they just want to get commission, some even worst, they ask me my TV and my sitting position is how far, i say about 7ft, then that guy say, 32" not enough lar, get at least 40" or 47" i straight walk out from the shop, you think i look like a kid very easy to con is it? I can't find any fault on the promoter's advise.. 32" and sitting 7 feet away is definitely not enough. 37" or 40" sounds fair

QUOTE(SilverSpoon @ Jun 19 2009, 04:53 PM) Hi to all sifus here, I just bought a PS3 today. Should i play it with my normal 22" NTSC TV or should i use my 17" normal LCD monitor (no HD). 22" NTSC TV Currently using it for my PS2 17" LCD Monitor Currently using it for my PC If i were to use my LCD Monitor, am i suppose to buy some 'switcher' to switch between using it for PS3 and PC? What about the audio? My current Sonic Gear Speaker is connected to my pc too. Am i suppose to buy another 'switcher' to switch in between PS3 & PC again? Hope all the sifus here can advise me. Thanks in advance! I don't think you can hook to your monitor.. That leaves you with TV only This post has been edited by gundamalpha: Jun 19 2009, 05:41 PM

QUOTE(SilverSpoon @ Jun 19 2009, 05:47 PM) Huh? why not? I understand my monitor is using VGA cable and the PS3 is using RCA (Red, Yellow & White Cable) But... there's some kind of converter that i can use to convert RCA to VGA right? .. please tell me there's hope... You'll only get extremely low quality picture.. better save those money and get a HDMI ready monitor while gaming on your TV
