hi...can anyone help me out?

i'm thinking of getting the philips PFL 9532. specs like this, full HD, 3ms response, 100Hz, 1080p 24fps and 3HDMI.

i compare this with the older LCD's tv, and this one no jerky picture when got action on screen. but my friend say Philips lousy brand. and better go for Plasma.

anyone can share some thoughts on this?
thanks.

I got one 47'' 9532 at home smile.gif Dont hesitate..its powahfull..you will definitely like the ambience light...must hang on wall to get its full potential..well if you have 14k to spare for TV..i dont think you have problem with hanging it..and hack the wall to hide the wires..cheers

My sitting distance would be 10ft on rocking chair...for that 47''

cool...got one user. so its a worth buy? i'm looking to use it for astro, dvd and ps3/xbox. just that some ppl said plasma will win it hands down. but looking in the shop, the quality was much better than panasonic's plasma. so would u recommend for astro/dvd/ps3???

only thing is that i'm getting the 42" la....47" outta budget. wife pulling ear .... sweat.gif

sometimes you have to tell your tv that the input is coming from component source....my dvd player also same problem when using component cable

thanks for the info ka3tro and hitman190. so means i'll have to just accept the grainy picture on astro, until they stream HD content.

does astro have component output? if u use component, it's still the same? sigh. so complicated one.

i'm planning to get the philips ambisound system, which can upscale to 1080p. can astro be upscaled?

so far all i know is that Astro will be nigh impossible to get streamed into HD...even the shows like Nat-Geo and WWE Raw which both are HIGH DEF cannot be seen in high def mainly cause of Astro's signal..

in fact, Astro looks much better on a standard def TV then it does on a HDTV

damn....looks like i'll move my current tv to the bedroom for astro. hopefully astro offers HD soon. i guess we cant have it all. but plasma not as clear as lcd...in my opinion..thats d problem
