QUOTE(Dias @ Mar 7 2009, 07:03 PM)
I have a Panasonic 42" plasma (TH-42PV80HM). When I try connecting my PS3 using HDMI cable, I don't see the PS3 interface (desktop?) on any of the channels (AV2 to AV4 as well as HDMI1 to HDMI3). Screen all blank, no audio sound at all. AV1 is for my Pioneer DVD player. I already tried the 2 HDMI ports behind the TV and the third HDMI port in front.

However, if I use the AV cable, I can view the PS3 interface perfectly. Sound also got.

Any clues as to why this is happening? Is it because the TV model does not support HDMI for gaming?

PS: Is this the right thread for my question?
