here's a short review on my Dell s2409w, absolutely amazing for ps3 gaming at 1080p, matter of fact due to my budget and room size this lcd fits my bill nicely..

yes it is... most important is its warranty policy is unbeatable... i upgrade mine to 5 years only top up RM60

erm, unless u using out phase grahpic card, all grahpic card these days with updated drivers are able to do 1.1 mapping via grahpic card liao... im running lucas arts' monkey island adventure game in 4x3 ratio all fine.. on my 8800gt with driver v178.13

dont let the resolution gets to u, most ps3 games i say 80% or more doesn't run at 1080p or FULLHD, resident evil, killzone, gta, even deadspace runs on 720p natively only....

so having FULLHD only truely comes in benifits if ur media u are using is natively runs at 1080p/Fullhd, and u sit quite close to ur panel.

i runs mgs4 on 1080p, tested 720p it does have much different unlike pc games... nope, looks ta same to me only, just tat if ur panel is native 1080p, then best set tat setting, if its 1080i, then using 720p looks better for mgs4
