Erm...Give some advice...If u really wan to buy DVI to HDMI, Best to buy is The Half Plug that DVI to HDMI, Because i buy like 3 DVI to HDMI also Full plug and no work at all...and my cousin take 1 Half Plug for me then straight can...

ive been planning to buy a LED monitor to replace my current lcd monitor..this led monitor does support FullHD and it stated out ( 1080 p ) ..ive been wondering if this can support if i plug in my ps3 together.. does it have any diff between 1080i and 1080p ? because if its work, then im totally gonna get it .. help !

Ya, 1080p is full HD while 1080i is like 720p.

for LCD tv go for SHARP and SAMSUNG

I'm considering to buy LCD TV to replace my monitor for PS3.

i'm considering between these

1. Sony 40" EX5 rm4999
2. Sony 40" EX4 rm3799
3. Sony 40" BX4/3 rm3299

All full HD & BE 3 engine.
I need good performance LCD tv for PS3 including the output sound.

Is the motionflow 100HZ found on Ex5 series really worth the money?
Which model give the best sound output?

If i were to consider samsung, which model should i buy for great sound output and performance?

For sound, it would be nice if you can chip in some money to buy some external speakers. RM150 to RM200 will do just fine for a pair of Altec Lansing. but if you are looking to splurge, the higher ends will savour your needs. Honestly, those built-in speakers are just ermmmm~~~wouldn't make it.

I see. I have creative megawork THX 5.1. but the thing is, my speaker only have 1 AUX input. not sure if it supported optical input or just 1/8" jack.

I saw some LCD TV comes with Surround HD. i wonder about its performance. Anyone would like to share?

Just paired AOC 24in 1080p monitor to my PS3. Damn nice. Feel like wanna sell it and get a 32in Bravia. Last week Best Denki, Summit having promo/clearance, almost all brand 32in selling at RM1299.

Waah... 1.2k is a good deal for 32 inch man.. all full hd too ?

HD Ready 1366*768 only from few models i check. Cheapest Full HD 1080p is LG, around rm2k. If Rm1299 FullHD, already bought it hahaha

I also consider 40" EX5 or 40" EX4, EX5 screen with motionflow 100HZ sure look clearer but the price
but some brother said samsung is better..... very confusing Samsung LCD with motionflow 100HZ also not cheap & with 3 HDML port only, Sony Ex5 is 4 HDMI port.

let me know the cheaper price & which model u will choose later ho...

I'd definitely go for the 100Hz screens. The normal ones totally suck compared to them.

100hz is good, i played Heavy Rain with 50hz LCD , some how flicker during the game. might buy a new LCD again..

This is my advice.
- if you want to save on the home theater better go full set of LCD with audio
- Korean made is better lighting than Japan made, except Panasonic,Sony
- Try to invest on 100hz or above, just add few hundreds for better quality picture
- Good sound comes out from Toshiba LCD , but not good picture quality

I would drop the notion of how well the speakers works from the LCD TV. You can always connect your Creative Megawork THX 5.1 with the LCD TV. I'm sure there's more than enough for you to choose to connect both gadgets.
