Composite is the one that can only deliver 480p ain't it?

I donno which is good to me. SO I just tend to support back the same brand sony n just go for the inches of the TV I actually wanted it to be.
HD ready is ur TV capable accepting n displaying a high-definition signal at either 720p, 1080i or 1080p using a component video or digital input and does not have a built-in HD-capable tuner.
Full HD is 1080p. If the TV itself stated Full HD means it's capable accepting n displaying a HD signal up to 1080p itself

Correct me if I'm wrong.

I called up my friend who is working at the Malaysia Communication and Multimedia Commission yesterday, to ask about the availability of digital broadcast in Malaysia (so that you can use the built-in digital tuner in your LCD TV to watch the channels).

He told me that currently we can only tune to RTM1 and RTM2, and also 2 additional digital channels provided by RTM; 1 is music video and he doesn't know the other one. These channels are still in testing phase.

So I guess the only main purpose for HDTVs now is to play nex-gen game consoles, other than watching Blu-ray movies smile.gif

For me, I dun like watching the TV with the pictures stretched out to fill up the widescreen. It makes Roger Federer looks fat tongue.gif

My suggestion, get a full hd display.

Btw, some might say that 1080p without the 100hz is crap, but for me it's still fine. At least 1080p is better than 720p/1080i what..... brows.gif icon_rolleyes.gif

How far will you be sitting in front of the TV? I was surprised to see how big the picture is in front of my 32". Got a HD Ready for myself yesterday. No complaints.

I've never compared 1080p with 720p before so can't really tell the difference. Plus, if you have eagle eyes then most probably you'll need a Full HD wink.gif
