 Boot Camp Problem

sometimes, when i'm trying to boot up to XP. my system will restart by itself...

it seems that bootcamp is quite unstable on the booting part.. but as soon as it enter then xp interface, everything is okie..


anyone facing this problem as well?

get a new xp cd and reinstall.. also make sure you follow exactly what the boot camp guide asks you to do

same porblem as u...long long time ago...
when starting xp..
it goes into a loop of boot / restart...
then i remove boot camp..
using parallels till now...=)

for me, i don't have problem with bootcamp. it works superb great wink.gif Btw, i use the latest version of bootcamp (leopard version)

Well, I'm using the latest boot camp too. It works great. I'm loving my new macbook pro. Wasn't sure whether urs is the latest version or not but if u install the boot camp that comes with leopard, there won't b any problem.

Oh ya, how do i rename the drive name for boot camp ? default name is untitled, seems like i can't rename it like click and rename on Macintosh HD.

cannot?? sounds quite impossible.. try right clicking icon, then get info, under name and extension, type the name.

i change the name under windows xp, right click on my computer and rename under the properties window there

 

Change to:
| Lo-Fi Version
0.0176sec    0.74    5 queries    GZIP Disabled
