Rick Dom has 1/60 version though (and so do Char's Rick Dom), the HYMM one (but rare also). It has PG-like proportion, but lack details such as inner frame (but have lights all over the body ). The newer FSS kit is easier though, with more snap-fit parts, and not molded in one color only. I got the older FSS kit (1/100 LED Mirage w/ Flame Launcher), but as you said, it was very hard to build(I didnt assemble anything yet), requires glue on many parts, plus mine was molded in greenish white (which requires full painting to change to the supposed color;white). I rarely paint my kit, so the kit is on hold. Want to commission it to other, but the commission price is too high for me right now (RM600+- if done by erix) as I'm still a student. Maybe later when I'm start working

From what I heard, Bandai is actually the one who sold the mold to the China company. But the mold they sold is the one they discarded (Bandai replace their mold after certain time, for quality control I think). Bandai allow them to sell their kit, but with one condition : Never put Bandai logo on their packaging. That's why bootlegged kit didnt have Bandai logo at all (unlike PVC figurines, even the original manufacturer name is present on the packaging). I didnt think the pirate reverse engineering the kit, coz from what Bandai stated in an interview, they are the only company that has technology to produce multicolored parts tree (thats why kit from other company didnt have multicolored part tree).
