Ok when NTV7 first started showing Japanese dramas long time ago, they aired this drama. The only thing i remember about it is the main characters would always end up in some bar which they had to take a short stairs down into. You know those bars which is located in the underground level. The bar isn't too big, it is lit with orange/yellow lights. The important part is they will always choose this particular song or music from the music box and it's a really nice song. The ending song of the drama is played over some scene in the sunset. I think it's a beach, not too sure though. Hope someone can ID for me...it is super nice the song.

Hmm lets see. I don't remember any of the characters or actors but I am sure they are the type that got flesh one. Not the cutie cutie type or bishounen type.

It is a love story. I don't think it's about sick girl. No leukemia nonsense.

I don't know the ending song i sung by girl or guy. I'm not even sure the song/music played by the music box is a song or just instrumental. But for sure it is a peaceful medium tempo song. So rock stuff.

And no it's not the drama in the above video

it is not beach boys or long vacation

Although I don't really watch any of her dramas, but she stars in a lot Getsu9 dramas.

Oh wow, you're sharp. I was expecting people to answer Nanako Matsushima

This time a harder one. She's not as popular as Miho Nakayama but she's a really good actress. Can you guess who she is?

Wow really can't figure out. Any more clue?

Well I purposely took a hard picture. Hmm focus on the eyebrows I guess.

She's acted in more movies than dramas I think. In one of them where she plays the lead, it's about friendship. Most of her movies are pretty successful at film festivals but no so successful at the box office. All her movies definitely received good ratings.

She has acted in a pretty popular drama and it's sequel.

i suspect this frm 1 is pre-takuya era/maybe takuya era tongue.gif

Definitely Takuya era. I think she started acting around the time of Beautiful Life.

She's actually Mikako Ichikawa

She stars in Kuitan 1 and 2. I first knew her through Ima Ai ni Yukimasu and again in Oto na ri. If you've seen her in Oto na ri you'd know she's a real beauty.

I can't dl her movie Blue, so I guess I'll wait until I'm in the States to buy it

You know, JDorama Fans should have a gathering sometime!

Another picture to guess. She's not the prettiest of actresses, but I think her voice is one of the sexiest. She's most famous for her stellar performance in a heart wrenching emotional drama. Who is she?

this one i am pretty sure it is takako togiwa. She is one of my favourite actress. Her performance in Beautiful Life was just wonder ful thumbup.gif

Ah, this was too easy I guess. I first watched Beautiful Life after an accident that left me paralyze from waist down. At that time I didn't know if I would ever walk again. Not only was the show inspiring, Takako Togiwa looked and sounded exactly like my Japanese teacher whom I had a special connection with. Watching the show was like watching my Japanese teacher in person.

i think this one quite easy.guess who is she

Wasn't easy for me. I had no idea who she is. I googled up Ryosuke's answer and found out that I've never watched any of the dramas Shaku Yumiko acted in except for her guest appearance in Galileo. But I must have certainly heard her voice since she voices Aya Brea of Parasite Eve.

You guys know so much more about JDorama than me sweat.gif

Here's another picture. She's not a JDorama Actress but she's acted in some movies. Maybe it doesn't really belong to this thread, but I think it's a good opportunity to introduce her. Rumor has it that a director found her acting so powerful that she incorporated acted scene into what was originally meant to be a documentary. Have you seen her before? One caution is that not many people can palate the movies she's acted in.

@Nanakopy, Is Mioka good? I haven't watched the drama version of Sekai no Chuushin de Ai wo Sakebu, but I've watched the movie and it's great. Pretty bored now so if this is good I can give it a try.
