yeah, they should have killed or seriously wounded one or more of the doctors during the tunnel rescue to add more dramatic effect to it.
then the rest of the survivor looks on with pale face while their friend is lying on the floor with blood gushing out of their body and the one who suggested them to stay back shouldnt be shirashi at all, she is the one who cause kuroda's hand and now she just decided to risk the life of 80% of the main cast sound too retarded to me. they should show how shirashi struggling to overcome her inner fear of endangering his friends in order to save a patient. therefore she should be most reluctant to stay but have to fight her conscience of leaving a dying patients. this scene will be worth exploring.
IT should be fujikawa !!! after getting all excited of getting up the heli for the first time, he should be the one who wana be a hero and save the day by asking them to stay back. and then shit happens and 2 of the doctors is critically wounded, while the remaining 4 are wounded lightly and barely manage to maintain the heartbeat of their comrade but thank god in the end they manage to stabilize their condition of them as well as the patient that they tried to save just now. i will censor out the part where yamphy do an ASADA and keep all the patients alive as i dun really like him
if u think it will end with everyone survive and they live happily ever after then ur wrong

now both doctors and the patients require urgent operation else their life would be in danger, but the heli can only carry one patients at a time and there wont be enough time to carry them back and forth for the 2nd patient. which means even if they choose the wounded doctors over the patients, they still need to choose which one shall have a chance of survival, heck i am evil

ok now i shall reveal the wounded doctor identity which will be mitsui sensei and shiraishi, means that leave aizawa, hiyama, fujikawa and Saejima that will stand between life and dead of their friends and co worker. oh yeah, fujikawa will be just fine, coz i need him to shoulder the guilt and responsibility later, so he must live. The ever so proud saejima will also suffer a mental breakdown as her competency and skills that she was so proud of in the past cant do shit to save her friends. Hiyama which is my fav character in the series will be as equally gutted as saejima as the clock is ticking and without a senior doctor to guide and advice them , worst of all her mentor mitsui sensei and best friend shirashi are the patients. It must be sux to be her

Finally the ever so cool aizawa will also be stunned and can no longer maintain his 0 expression face, now his face indicate one thing.... FEAR, for the first time he felt so helpless, can he save all 3 patients ? or he really need to choose one ? while all this question spinning around his head, time is ticking by, they have to make a choice who to send before its too late for anyone.
*starts ost music : noiseless period*
as the heli engine is started and the rotor is slowly starting to spin, news of the accident site status reach the hospital and everyone is equally stunned by it. nurses are crying and the CO girl is so shock that tears start to flow from her eye's as she look towards Morimoto who is totally devastated by the news and unable to record anything down while kuroda is looking helplessly on his hand and sigh......
heli lift off and reveal on the screen, the 4 survivors plus the 2 wounded doctor on the floor, while the heli lifted off towards the sun ala tommorow's style. the 4 of them look down on the doctors turned patients in front of them and.....

pls be sure to catch Code Blue SP Coming soon 2009 Jan
ya i agree code blue dint end with a big bang but it got alot of potential for a great drama just that the plot is quite weak and the heli is too highly rated
