I think most of the people here would recommend either HLebroking or OSK. Try go to more firms and ask. Share trading is based on personal preferences and NOT other people's comments.

For HLebroking, there is no branch. You can only go to HL Bank and sign the form, submit with the deposit for opnening your savings account.
After that, you will have to log into their website and register there. When that is done, print out the completed form, sign and post it to their HQ for stamping and approval. All these should be done within 21 days if I remember correctly
