Investing in US stocks, Does anyone know how?

i open firstrade a/c.
my firstrade a/c name is: KAI CHIEW YU instead of YU KAI CHIEW, which is used in malaysia.
my surname is YU btw. and for US style, they would put surname in behind.
is tat ok?
and if they wire back / use cheque, is there any problems is the payee is: KAI CHIEW YU??
still can bank in malaysia a/c??
confused....pls help me...
