my firstrade a/c name is: KAI CHIEW YU instead of YU KAI CHIEW, which is used in malaysia.

my surname is YU btw. and for US style, they would put surname in behind.

is tat ok?

and if they wire back / use cheque, is there any problems is the payee is: KAI CHIEW YU??

This is one funny thing abt US account, always put our surname behind.
Anyway, i dealt with this before, should be no problem whichever way they put it.
Bank officer know this is US check, they will honor your check.

Next time if u ever open US account, try put yr name as Yu Kai Chiew without bothering your surname,
u'll be fined.
