I thought this topic is all about Investing In USA.

Now, more or less , " Speculating " In USA.

Some more, soon all the FA got chased away.

Anyway, happy trading to all.

Frankly, I think this thread is for all to express their opinions.

Never mind lah, if TA makes more money than FA.

Those owning airlines cannot say shipping by ships is totally bad.

Also just another opinion.

No, actually there were quite a number of Investors..
They just BOUGHT and WENT home. Maybe, they'll come back next year to collect their profits since they hardly post.

Most posters here are active traders here....(like me.. zaman, sulife, epal, etc).  laugh.gif

Well.. come of think of this, in this market, there isn't a clear line drawn
between investors and traders anymore.  The 'Buy and Forget' Warren Buffet style of investments
burned a lot of people the last 2 years, and a lot of people are getting nervous about this market.

We are very close to rolling over this hill..

When US started to change the Accounting Policy of marking to market.

I got a feeling that Dow would hit 10,000 mark.

I expressed my feeling In Bursa thread quite sometime back.

Now, maybe a bit too late to say it over here.

Damn it..Dreamer... I just had this weird feeling that you would sneak up once a while and post your two cents ...  biggrin.gif
Anyway, welcome back!  biggrin.gif

Good for you.. you're Warren Buffett kinda guy. Go long and buy this market.  rclxms.gif

For me, I have to pick and choose.  I came out from the dot com bubble years ago and was hurt pretty badly and learned my lessons since then. This market has humble me enough to know when to buy, hold or to sell. Profits are profits..  I'll be a bull and bear but won't be a pig  tongue.gif

The last time we had a fierce discussion ( before the October Crash ) , you were 100% BEAR.

Nice to see you changed , to a Moderate Bear.

Keep it up. icon_rolleyes.gif

Sure man.. I gotta change my game plan and adjust.

I'm watching Uncle Ben(anke) and his cronies. He wants to continue to reward the US banks,
The US banks still aren't lending to the US tax payers and small businesses.. the home owners in US are still
being foreclosed..they're still losing homes and jobs every week. Next year, when those primes reset, it will be fun to watch.

Companies are making money not because of growth but because of cost cutting and improved in productivity but they can only trim so much.

Deep down.. I'm bearish and I'm thinking we're going get a double dip next year.
If we think Lehman failure is bad, wait till you see what happens to debt credit market.

I trust that Obama & team is still ( so far so good ) in controlling of the market.

As to the fundamentals Of US, I am also very Bearish.

Hope to learn more from you. notworthy.gif

from another forum

On yesterday's "Jobs Summit": They're asking today, "Why aren't we creating jobs?" ...

If you have a business, would you expand it if you didn't know what the rent was going to be?

Would you hire employees if you had no idea what your income was going to be and what your taxes were going to be, what your rent's going to be, and what you're going to have to pay them?

Would you hire any new employees right now on the verge of this health care debacle without knowing what that's going to cost you?

Would you hire anybody on the verge of all of the disaster that is openly being planned and talked about in Congress?

Would you hire anybody or start a business today if you had no idea how much of the profit you will get to keep?

Three [sic] questions, all with obvious answers, so obvious anybody could answer them ... unless your name is Obama.

Unfortunately, Obama and his Dems will use this as a reason for another large "Stimulus" package. "Have hole, will dig" is their motto.

Being Asians and in the Pacific region , I rather credit Obama, the black man for clearing all the shits left by the white people.

Rather short sighted just bcos someone is losing the money. rclxub.gif

I don't blame the whites or any color. I blame the fools who bought into the bubble of the housing market.

Obama used to be bear because he's angry at the banks.
Now he's bull. He and his team want the market to be bullish. Don't fight them.

currently indexes its at pivot point & can't break thru resistance
fine, i'll stick politics out of this forum in future
but its their policies which decides the economies, ie taxes, non signing of FTA, protectionism & etc
not any fantasy about any white / black race being superior & shit clearing stuff cool2.gif

The way you talk sometimes treating others as dumb dumb.

No diff from those old folks in the old coffee shops , telling and teaching Obama what to do.

There is a limit to that.
