*
what tax? tax only apply on DIV received. Else - nothing. Anyway, ask E-Trade, they are in better position to answer you.

wow.

Dollar got beaten again, GOLD historic high, approaching $1200. What's next? 2000$?

Close INTC, bought x 300 @19, closed x 300 @ 19.45 +130$
Close URE x 300 @6, closed x300 @6.25 +65$

Bought both when market dipped.

Long LVS x200 @16.55. Missed 15.80-16.00 yesterday but looking good for another entry today as 3 mega news to be un-leashed.

Will go for TNA today (35-36$), pre-market reddish.

Watchout for 3 mega-news today. I'm expecting mixed results and market will back down a bit.

- Core Durable Goods Orders m/m @ 930
- Unemployment Claims @930
- New Home Sales @ 11

Be careful trying to short Gold..Silver or Commodities.  The shorts got their ass handed to them last time.  tongue.gif
*
True but cannot put long as well, coz now commodities are running on steroids. I will not enter LONG position even the dollar is fcuking cheap now.

For stocks, Let one or two analyst write bad about some counters, the market will dive for the day. Time to re-enter.

Added on November 25, 2009, 7:59 amNow my sogotrade free trades are over.. smile.gif

Trade at cost now.

By the way, the bear has been there for a week, bull cannot fight also.

MGM and LVS are testing lower and lower.

I have to say that still have 1-2 USD to drop.
*
if you know that MGM/LVS going down, why not SHORT sell it? unsure.gif

Trade details. Look at the commissions paid shakehead.gif

Still, since MBtrading is better in many area such as SHORTing of stocks, fast on-line help, not too strict on the margin requirement, so I stick to 'em.

Attention ETF traders - Margin requirement for ETF x2, x 3 increased ! WTF.. vmad.gif

so funny, shorts being screw... haha  bruce.gif
i m not closing my shorts position, still gambling & maintaining shorts position but increase cut loss level
in meantime, since buy the dip scenario still in play, gotta continue the fun ride & spent baby spent  cool2.gif

true, "short" sellers are being squeezed, authority "punished" by slapping a bigger fine aka upgrade of margin requirements.

QUOTE(danmooncake @ Nov 30 2009, 12:04 PM)
Depending on what you're short in.. but those holding 3x ETF bear like FAZ and ERY will most likely be
on suicide watch, not because of the market rally..because of the inherent broken down decay already took place.
*
woot, those are CASINO LEVEL chips. Never so far I hold or trade 3x ETF, be it LONG or SHORT

Funny wave today.

Asia all GREEN except Singa, Malayzia and Pinoy Land.

Europa almost 95% red and US Future = GREEN?

rumours from Dubai, the promise land that more to come?

Let visit banks with big exposure in Dubai development.

Beware of C and UYG..

The moving is unreasonable.. They are the big stackholder in Dubai crisis.

Will eventually drop..
*
nah, what is your basis of BIG stakeholder? I hope you got data to support your story, do not simply assume.
Today CITI is green, not RED.

Banks Loan Exposure to The UAE
Bank Loans to UAE (blns of UAE dirhams) In dollars (current FX, blns)
HSBC 62.56 $17.03
Standard Chartered 28.54 $7.77
Barclays 13.14 $3.58
ABN AMRO* 8.23 $2.24
Arab Bank 7.66 $2.09
Citigroup 7.06 $1.92
Bank of Baroda 6.54 $1.78
Bank Saderat Iran 6.38 $1.74
BNP Paribas 6.20 $1.69
Lloyds 5.77 $1.57
Source: Emirates Banks Association

CITI only supply 7% or about USD2 billion. Not big exposure leh.

Thanks to Dubai issue, Oil price looks good at this level. In 200 ERX @ 38.50.

The thing that will really drive US stocks will eventually be consumers spending and Fed moves.
Dubai will be old story soon.  Therefore, I'm buying the dips.

Market awaiting more news at home front to see if Black Friday sales
have any positive impact for retailers.

Online retailers line AMZN are expected to win big time, B&M stores may expect flat or slightly down.
*
yes, buy on DIPS, more opps coming this week, there after you can be assured of the market direction.

Mega news:
1 DEC
ISM Manufacturing PMI
Pending Home Sales m/m

2nd Dec
ADP Non-Farm Employment Change

3rd Dec
ISM Non-Manufacturing PMI

4th Dec
Non-Farm Employment Change
Unemployment Rate
