QUOTE(sulifeisgreat @ Nov 10 2009, 09:33 AM) yup, SILVER n GOLD stocks (related) are running wild. My favourite is HL.ERK as well but not much in term of volume. When FED decides to increase the interest rate, we can see DOW back to 9800 |

QUOTE(danmooncake @ Nov 11 2009, 12:20 AM) I don't think LVS ever got to 17 yesterday or tonight. Highest is only 16.96 and it reversed. yes, it was, after market, coz I placed order till after hours, but didn't got it.It may retest again. Market is not tanking yet.. still wanting to go green but some profit taking are starting to take place. Dip buyers are standing by to give support. Watching that S&P 1100, if cannot break thru 2-3 more times, definitely will reverse course. anyway, no big fuss, only Q 150 |

QUOTE(epalbee3 @ Nov 11 2009, 08:04 AM) Any reason why LVS still boosting? Good news? I don't know why. Suddenly rise from dead. SHORT x100 LVS 17.01Can Fed announce interest hike without meeting? anytime? I feel that US stock price started to be unreasonable.. Better day trade because we don't know what is tomorrow news.. |

QUOTE(danmooncake @ Nov 12 2009, 09:25 AM) There are actually a LOT of good companies in US that are still undervalue but they are difficult to spot. True, but how about BAC? also too "big" to fail? They are the same page with C, just because they are way bigger? Those who are fundamentalist stock pickers, they'll know very well how to look deep into the company balance sheet and business plans. However, business environment changes all the time. Therefore, "good" is relative nowadays. It all depends on how those companies plan to execute their growth plans. If you look at "C" balance sheet now, it sucks big time. It's forward looking statement also sucks. Apparently no idea when they're going to repay the TARP. People now are buying into C because it is "Too Big To Fail". Even W.Buffet did not inject in C, BAC.. Hard call to dump C now. |

Firefox also no problem, try it before. Found that J2t is not bad overall, improved since last time. Only "big" problem is Java based streaming quote make the CPU utilized over 50%. Ur PC/Lappy fan will try to cool down the CPU.Now my account with Just2trade funded & maybe plan to move there. Tips : use CPUFan idle software. |

QUOTE(MikTeg @ Nov 12 2009, 10:00 PM) why wondering? nowadays data is worth nothing - market conditions made possible speculations with data in order to make less "moves" - people will make it themselves sorry, it worth nothing, because of the MEGA FACTOR - interest rate, which makes dollar cheaper to hold. Too much dollar, what you want to do? stash in your house? put in bank? buy properties? nope - hard to liquidate later on.also means more dollar for a foreign currency. Say 10,000 EUR now can get 14,900 USD, last time can get only 13,500 USD. more USD, means more buying power. BUY ON DIPS.. (if you have money to hold just in-case market U turn) |

QUOTE(MikTeg @ Nov 12 2009, 10:26 PM) zamans98, hard to argue with you =)) so it seems that financial crisis hasn't influenced much those who can and wish to earn on it =) my background is Finance and IT.. i believe currency exchange is also has become more popular since the end 2008 Added on November 12, 2009, 10:28 pmzamans98, but when dollar reaches its critical level, dramatic consequence might appear - when USA gets all her dollars back, she (not she actually, though gvnmt) will try to palm it off back on us But if the interest rate inched up, then u can see the BEN EFFECT takes place. Uncle Ben is actually TOP 10 most influential person on earth right now. (shiat, he's Jewish). That's why Mr. Cake targeting DJIA at 9000 level when the interest rate goes up. My target 9,200-9,500 Psst - look at INTC which have business outside US, making good profit when established FINANCIAL YEAR END report.. hehehe |
