u might consider medium term investing too
well, hope u all dun get stuck in reading books or virtual trade forever
coz the thread needs a two way traffic for it to be alive & not remain in icu 
the only way to learn, is to put down cold real hard cash, then suddenly all ur virtual trading style & books theory fly out the window
ur emotions will take over. a 10 sen drop wil make u sweat. fear & greed is now ur new frens every time u see the stock or sleeping at night
make sure the capital r ur savings that u r willing to let it all burnt...haha
the day when u can take emotions out of trading, is a day that u learn something new

anyway, just swing traded bcrx & cksw, since no idea whther it can go higher or not? i took my profit & run liao

can u all see the set up of the chart & y it could be swing traded? understand its a bit difficult 
but after u have run thru thousand of charts & traded some of them, u would be to feel a swing trade or breakout
by combining techincal & fundamental analysis, with ur personal analisis
ur success or failure would depend very much on the self performance & effort u r willing to put in 
of coz u might go around hitting walls, so thats y the internet is around for us to share & exchange knowledge

agree, so how u use it & wat u wan to use depends on wat u r looking for
but my portfolio includes short, medium & long term stocks/ etf
for me, i see from overall picture, then i drill deeper down into individual stocks
everyone has diff opinion, as long as wateva makes $$$, its fine 

depends. Hard to say. my range is 575-620... buy n sell in that range

my long term picks holding period is also forever
it is my short term & medium term picks, tat is being traded to gain the experience & $$$ (buffet no cover tat topic) the adrenaline rush is fun - no money can buy it

zzz... the whole market waiting for fed rate & the other coming news, then things wil be much clearer 

If C itself really gained $22 per share, I would be a very happy camper. 

i would suggest u follow dmc advise to sell
& take wateva capital u can
imo, the stock drop could be at level u hav never experience via klse b4 (say 50%?)
but, i no idea wat happen later, its up to u (refer ur own risk management level & cut loss price)

if i m u, i wil reuse tat capital to buy the dip after its oversold, jmo
