thanx for sharing.. i love my portraits to be as original as possible.. to achieve that, i interact with the subject while capturing the moment.

i myt be doing a total opposite of u, dgrebel.... i'm more into candid portraiture... hence telezoom realy fits my appetite... ahahahahaha... sorry if this is OT... biggrin.gif

i do candids too. but wouldn't it be nice if the subject looks directly into the lens? telephotos are for inferior introverts.. hehe.. as said by shaliza mokhtar.

Inferior? 60% of introvert are gifted people. Such a distort view from Shaliza to call others inferior. Other people has their own styles.

But yeah I do agree that portraits sometimes do look better when the subject looks at the lens. But sometimes it's also nice to see portraits candidly.
I once seen a photo of a man clutching his hair at the table of a restaurant where he sat alone like almost he is about to loose his sanity. Pretty amazing stuff.
