did you read the Apple explanation first?
my previous boss used it, to administer 6 different Macs. it meant we only have to download any software updates or make system changes in one place, rather than run around the whole training centre setting up.

If you just need the Windows Remote Desktop kind of functionality, it is called "Screen Sharing" in OS X, and is free.

Hmm.. this Apple Remote Desktop sure sounds like something I should recommend for the office of mine *grins* And, of course let my MBP be the mother of all Macs *grins* rclxms.gif

if wanna use need to buy the Remote Desktop or its free because i don't really understand what Zhaoyun is saying

yeah, Remote Desktop is not free.

Screen Sharing in Leopard allows you to remotely control your other Mac in the network. Remote Control in my definition means, you can control the mouse and keyboard, execute programs in the remote Mac and so on. However, if you need to do more advance stuff like pushing software and remote maintenance from a centralize Mac, then you get the Apple Remote Desktop (Not free).

It really depends on what you need.
