X2 4000+ Barton? Dude I been using AMD from K5 okay.  nod.gif
Everbody knows that mainly we can OC from mutiplier for current processor intel nor AMD.
You told us using AUTO OC?  whistling.gif
*
hayya bro,relax..
not X2 4000+ Barton,im using brisbane, just asking if i can change the multiplier 4 my brisbane.
i mean barton for AMD Athlon XP,some pencil trick must to do to unlock the multiplier.
but that is long story.

auto oc : im just using setting has provided by biostar/manufacture.Could find in the bios.

If im not mistaken, minimum multiplier that u can set for your proc is 5. Lower than that won't work  notworthy.gif

yes bro,but it is for HTT,not 4 cpu tongue.gif

but i wonder why my rig cant boot after doing by manually,
let see..i have change fsb to 250,htt set to 4x,ram divider to 333.
but default vcore and ddr voltage.
the setting is not differ with auto setting, even change vcore up to +0.05 or +0.10,it still can't.

so,im just clear cmos and using auto OC.

how much the voltage..1.2v?
*
just increase +0.012v...
anyway,after 8h 32m SP2004 testing, i got the error,mybe should increase the vcore.

i'm changing ram divider from 533 to 667 but it not working,
my rig didn't save setting but it turn to the default clock after reboot.

8 hr edi?? i think its enuff

for vdimm, need to add.. changing 533 to 667 for sure it need
*
8 hr just to measure how long it can keep stable,
so,what the vdimn shud i use?or just trying increment 1 by 1.(take much time vmad.gif )
some people said better to keep 533 rather than change to 667.

Both time I bough cosair value ram and they do sucks big time.
Rather buy team value than corsair.
*
yeah,i believe it will hit 3.1+GHz (or more) stable. The only reason my OC hit a wall
at 2.9GHz is because of my RAM,however i would to try to hit >3.0ghz.

Dont set vdimm more than 2.1 for value ram. Push your HTT higher bro. Add vcore byk pon xpe for benchi hehe. But make sure ur proc temp dont xceed 60 degree when under orthos load. Good Luck~
*
I using default vdimn,
so what will happen if xceed 60 degree blink.gif ,
i dont think it will burn the proc.

Now,trying so hard to reach 3ghz,need to try to up NB voltage.
Urm,seen that OCCT is more accurate rather than Orthos for
stability test,if i want to use the OC setting for long hour.
