which if why, if you guys ever notice, Rams on amd will not overclock as well as rams on Intel setup. Also bro, just to let you know, indeed crucial rams are good overclockers, but they are also known to have a short lifespan and a huge number of RMAs.
*
For me i not really agree crucial is short lifespan RAM.Is because the quantity of ppl using crucial is alot and the chanced of RMA is sure become higher.What we shld take account is percentage.Like the failing optical drive disccusion in hardware session.We can see samsung is highest vote because it is the most ppl using.And why other brand is so less ?Doesnt it meant it is a good drive?yet it is not.perhaps yes.It just really rare ppl using it and hard to see ppl sell those brand.

QUOTE(dblooi @ Jan 17 2008, 12:53 AM)
after flash to latest bios,
tried 250HTT , boot successful
enter bios again, tot of top up the HTT to 300,
mana tau saw this, what the .....  vmad.gif
[attachmentid=380897]
bios auto set multi to 9.5x pulak rclxub.gif

after boot into windows , it shows 3005MHz with 10x multiplier  sweat.gif
in order to make sure that it is really 10x multiplier ( previously in bios it shows 9.5 x 300, now 10 x 300 )
i run everest memory and cache benchmark,
if it is 9.5x , suppose the score will be very low ( i'm using 90nm proc now, IMC bug occurs if i use 9.5x multi )
and result shows that this is really 10x multiplier  rclxm9.gif
[attachmentid=380901]

a snapshot of temperature and voltage monitor,
[attachmentid=380902]
stock vcore ==> 1.24v ( suppose VID for my proc is 1.21v , mobo add some extra juice for proc  brows.gif )
vdimm add to 2.4v in bios and it shows 2.4v in bios monitor ( no voltage drop  brows.gif )

however, this is not finalized conclusion yet, will try to check again with DMM on tomolo as some guys don't really believe the accuracy of the hardware monitor  smile.gif

p/s: boot up from bios still slow though adi flash to latest bios
      will try higher clockspeed now, stay tune  brows.gif
edited: just checked the vdimm option ,
          after 2.7v straight away 2.9v again for this latest bios  rclxub.gif

review from me:

-ta770 a2+ is suc.k until get the new bios..
-at the normal speed, u will face the hard movement such as when u r playing game with ta770, it will hang n need to restart,
-oc using this board is quite difficult with current bios. when set at 300, it will show 305
-summore the word "mode" edi turn to "moede"  tongue.gif (safe mode condition)
-the drop voltage just ~0.02v

thx rclxms.gif  pray for new bios
