Yes, 4000+ easily reached 3.0g. The question is just whether u need high vcore to get there or not only.
Just finished up my assignments and huargh, damn sleepy. Always in Garage Sales but just to look see look see only. And so how's 770 ? Overclockable than 690g ? U bought it right Bro DJ ? |

4000+ indeed can reach 3.0 easily, and the problem is... thats about where it gets and wont go much further.

4000 should be Brisbane right??
If you using CoreTemp to read the temperature, better be careful as the DTS is spoilt. The reading which is shown is not accurate. -pWs- |

QUOTE(-pWs- @ Jan 14 2008, 08:03 AM) 4000 should be Brisbane right?? 4000+ is indeed brisbane, only 5200+ onwards are windsor cores. And yea, one of brisbanes biggest headace is the DTS, you will have to touch the heatsink yourself in order to know if its hot or not.If you using CoreTemp to read the temperature, better be careful as the DTS is spoilt. The reading which is shown is not accurate. -pWs- And just another tips for u guys touching the heatsink, our body temperature is approx 36-37c under normal condition, so, touching anything which the temp is within our body temp doesnt feel warm/cold. Just approximately compare your body temp with the hsf temp, its easy to know the actual temp of the processor. |
