Nope but 1.676 is high for me. Unless your going for water cooling. Maybe also cause the board was design for Phenom.
*
true , max 1.676v support is more than enough for stable overclock (24/7 usage)
but i guess still not enough for extreme overclockers like bro xixo_12 and AoiNatsume laugh.gif

I dont think MSI is that kinda board manufacturer like abit, biostar and others.  rolleyes.gif
*
maybe MSI's R&D is fully concentrate on intel platform development , no time for AMD laugh.gif
anyway all the best to bro AoiNatsume , hope he solve the problem somehow. notworthy.gif
IMHO, if use water cooling + ice , most probably oc will stop at 1.7v
( Tried to pump 1.8vcore b4, cannot raise the clock speed also due to the temp )
1.67v is around 1.7v .... shouldn't make a big gap notworthy.gif

my temps when running 3.55Ghz @ 1.55v barely even hit 40c on full load... if you were me im sure you will be pretty pissed that the board limits you before the temp does. doh.gif

My mobo do not have a function for changing cpu multiplier.
Just using Auto OC from the bios and got 2.6Ghz max higher.
*
there's multiplier option in the oc menu. Make sure you go tru one by one
i use that mobo b4 wink.gif

QUOTE(dj.eRicZzz @ Jan 3 2008, 01:24 PM)
dont worry...i pump till 1.69 before tongue.gif and my proc still nice....dare not go further though

Added on January 3, 2008, 1:25 pm

but sometimes we lower the multiplier to get higher speed

Added on January 3, 2008, 1:30 pm

your mobo is 7050 pv? i tried to google but nothing...issit 7050-m2?
*
he is using exactly the same mobo as yours. 7050 pv is the name of chipset, given by nvidia.

QUOTE(AoiNatsume @ Jan 3 2008, 02:04 PM)
its a D2 800mhz, havent really push it yet, after some quick test it is still unable to beat my old 10th anniversary.

So far, its running on the same settings as my crucial on a 24/7 clock (1066mhz/2.2v/5-5-5-15)

My new 3870 should be arriving today, next month upgrade would be phenom. Damm cant wait !! drool.gif

btw, ive sold my tracers, will cod with another forumer here today for OCZ Reaper HPC edition.
*
icic...from what i've seen.
seems crucial 10th +/- Balistix > balistix tracer
but balistix tracer got bling bling LEDs drool.gif

QUOTE(-=ProtozuaqS=- @ Jan 3 2008, 03:08 PM)
biggrin.gif
Yes...7050 m2 but i dont know why they put PV.u can see at this link.
http://www.biostar-usa.com/
hayya bro,relax..
not X2 4000+ Barton,im using brisbane, just asking if i can change the multiplier 4 my brisbane.
i mean barton for AMD Athlon XP,some pencil trick must to do to unlock the multiplier.
but that is  long story.

auto oc : im just using setting has provided by biostar/manufacture.Could find in the bios.
*
you can change to lower multiplier, but cannot change to higher multi unless u are using a black edition proc
If im not mistaken, minimum multiplier that u can set for your proc is 5. Lower than that won't work notworthy.gif

instead of waiting others to spoon feed you,
actually you can try google search wink.gif

diff between this f3 & f2 is d temp, i noticed that f3 is hotter than my previous f2 @ almost same voltage. cud be d artic silver not yet settle in or becouse of d 256kb extra l2 cache...  unsure.gif
*
f3 is hotter because you clock to higher speed now, my friend notworthy.gif
try compare clock to clock and see icon_rolleyes.gif
IMHO, earlier batch of F3 windsor shouldn't have temp problem wink.gif

CM690, of all cases i used before, none of them can win CM690 in term of price:functionality. Im using mine as well as my watercooled setup.

Here's some hardware pron.

Note that the pic in the setup is still an 8800, now im using HD3870 single, will be getting another one by the end of this month.
