Currently i own a D100 and a second hand D1. With the release of D300, i drooled badly when reading through the features and the new look if its battery pack.

My question is as follows :

1. co-current new D300 owners do welcome to share its performance and if possible how well it handle with continuous shot with battery pack equipped?

2. I am more into candid shots and some nature photography so would D300 bring some advantage to my work or should i just stick with my current D100? Note : I use D100 mostly for nature photography due to its size and weight. If you were wondering, the D1 is for staged / studio photography and action packed scene.

Hope to have some friendly advice as i am planning for my next year spending budget biggrin.gif

what glass do you currently own?

would it benefit more if you instead get a d80, and spend on better glass? or a d200?
