thanks sihumchai!
now, flashed or not, basically the unit's hardware hasn't been messed up before, right?
regarding the game, i have no idea why the sales person insisted that the game is original. i had but no choice, since that is the only shop which had the only game that i wanted.
anyway, the nds cart seems to really look like the original (size) and save / playability. how did they actually pirate that damn thing? i am not trying to pirate my own games here, i am just wondering how is it that 36 games were squeezed into one cart, and all 36 playable and saveable...
my main concern is that will it fail me in future - like if i saved a certain progress of my played games... will i come to a situation where i have no more space to save games anymore?
hope i am not being complicated. i am in a "susah hati" state now

Don't worry, these retailers don't know anything themselves

How do they make these game carts? Because Nintendo produces everything in China/Taiwan, so to put it bluntly, they've(Chn/Twn) got the blueprints.
Games comes in various sizes, some come in 16mb, 32, 64, and also 128. So in the 36-in-1 case, it's like having a 128mb card(even 256mb), and shoving in all the 16mb games.
Saving? Unlike the GBA catridge, the NDS game card does not use batteries to store save game memory, it is all written into the DS game card itself as long as there's space allocated for it.
Were you targetting on getting originals only?
