2 hours queue in BG9 is not fun. I've told my fellow Hordes in BG9 to give Alli some honor but they never listen and defense like mad. 15 on d with healers and archers and drek alive is not fun when the q is 2 hours.

So how long can I get exalted with WSG from revered ? 21k rep to farm.

Thats the problem. Horde used to get decent honour even if they afked the match. But now with the patch changes to AV, alliance can play for 30-45 mins for 60 honour.

alliance in my battlegroup Cyclone win majority of the AV.. in fact, they win much more in all the BGs compare to hordes. i'm just amaze how battlegroup can differ so much from 1 another.. smile.gif

imho i think should expand the battlegroup.. rather than 8 realms.. make it 16realms!!

you won't be killing the same opponent that much often and screw ur diminish honor return..
you won't have to wait 5-10min for a 2v2 to pop...
you won't have to wait 5-10min for a bg on wicked hours...
you don't have to match against the same team for the last 5 arena games.. (unless we are the farmer team) tongue.gif
the balance of power in BG and arena can normalized...

my average waiting time (que) for AV in BG9 is about 1hour 10 mins. So, in a day can do about 2 to 3 AV games and do the other Bgs while waiting for it.

The funny thing is that horde side always start the game with less players then the alliance (eg. 35 alliance vs 28 horde). Are the alliance really boycotting AV or maybe less players queing for it on horde side because of the 1 hour wait?

In all AV i am in, the raid group always try to get highest honors possible. Defend all horde buildings & GYs, do not let alliance kill the captain, cap all alliance bunkers, GYs, Mines, and kill all hostile moving objects on the field. Because waiting for one hour for the game & getting more honors worth it.

Sounds a lot like Alliance's AV experience pre 2.3. Especially the queue times.

Well I usually spam the trade channel telling the rest not to play AV, and let the hordes wait like how we used to wait for an AV match laugh.gif

teamplay starts from one individual, i got the skill/gear/charisma to lead the horde.

examples:

- me defending iceblood tower. while it takes 2-3 sub par geared people to defend, i alone can take on 2-3 sub par geared alliance at once. (and we all know how people likes running AV in shit gears, i mean, ive did a 2.8k riposte crit on some cloth before, so go figure.) that manpower is freed to either defend IB GY, or offend.

- co-ordinating attacks/defends in AB/EOTS (its really just running around the nodes, need someone to co-ordinate the movements, and the horde to listen. that is the hardest part, but its always worth it)

- leading offense team on WSG (co-ordinating cc's on enemy healers while downing enemy FC, or not even letting enemy picking our flag at all)

someone's gotta do it, i just happen to be that person.

Take this rule:

Everyone in the BG are idiots, except YOU. Yes, YOU. It is up to YOU to defend that node in AB. It is up to YOU to guard towers in EoTS. It is up to YOU to recap our base in AV. It is up to YOU to stop the Alliance flagcarrier in WSG.

Once YOU know that all depends on YOU, your side will perform better. Once people know someone (aka YOU) is doing something useful instead of the usual mindless zerg in the middle of the flag, they will flock to your side and follow your lead.

There's nothing wrong with the battlegroup. Alliance are just queuing less which is why your wait time to get into AV on the alliance side is shorter. Horde on the other hand are queuing up like its some kind of Black Friday sale.

The long/short queue problem occurs when theres too many queuing up on one side (Horde in this case) and too little queuing up on the other (Alliance) thus the opening of AVs to play in are Alliance-limited. Why this is happening is anyone's guess but probably because Horde have gotten their shit together after patch 2.3 and Horde win more when we don't AFK honor pharm.

Its harder though to do it in AV mainly because people have more time to constantly check the map. Whereas in EoTs and AB you're probably too busy fighting with the opposing teams to cap flags and whatnot to even realize there's afkers.

How come alliance can win if I saw more level 60++ rather than 70s in BG9 ?

IMO hardcore Alliance PVp will not play Av anymore, only those whose are new to 70 getting the tokens or they are new to AV.

Druid in your side in WSG a a sure win, 188 honor. Now I'm only playing WSG.

this guy speaks the truth.

any hardcore pvp'ers will be full set season 3 honor within the first few days of S3 release. (including myself)

and the only incentive to BG is the 12g daily quest, or just for the heck of it. (we all know smashing people's faces are kewl. HARP for lyfe)

Cause and effect. Alliance won't queue AV because it is now no longer necessary or impossible to do so. AFKing EOTS weekend can net you up to 10k honor a full day.

Quazacolt - I'm still waiting for the day you can post anything without sounding like a completely thick-skinned and egotistical person. Enjoy HARP till 2.3.2!

you really dont give up do you?

look upon ur own post and see whos thick skinned enough to provoke old stale shits. and yea, 2.3.2 isnt all that big of a deal as many people may put it. Ill prolly harp, or lolstep, or even daggers if they refund arena weapons, who knows, and again, big deal if they nerf. Face it, taking ONE AR away from HARP isnt gonna break the entire talent build completely, if you wanna think otherwise, go ahead and be an idiot, im not joining along.

Hey you said it yourself in this very thread. You've always been this way from day 1 so you can continue being a self-aggrandizing, thick-skinned, egotistical cock on the forums, while I continue to call you that because I can and because I want to.

Grats on crying to H@H@ about the so-called 'spam' posts I've been making to protect your e-peening and getting your own thread locked?

Enjoy HARP in it's current incarnation until 2.3.2 hits, you've said it yourself that you might have to end up exploring other builds, which I'm sure a lot of other rogues will too. HARP for lyfe? Don't be too sure buddy~!

I'm amazed at how delusional you are. Calling other's thick skinned when in actual fact you're the thick skinned one who can't even tell apart when people are being sarcastic at you. Instead of debating it out you had to cry to a mod to lock the thread just because you were running out of "last words" to say.

Since you're such the PVP maestro you claim you are, why not post your achievements in Elitistjerks or Gameriot and let them be the judge?

So, ive really admitted being - quote: "self-aggrandizing, thick-skinned, egotistical cock "? You seriously got a lot of comprehension to brush up, either that, or you just simply enjoy stuffing your own words and thoughts into people's mouth. Go ahead and enjoy doing so, im not really interested nor do i have a good reading on the care meter.

And yea, im REALLY crying to H@H@. Dont think you are understanding something here, i REALLY did not care much about having my "e-peen" thread being locked or not, hell, if you bothered to read around, ive also mentioned how surprised i am that it even survived until that far. So yea, i really am crying to H@H@. (go figure)

And really, as ive said, im gonna enjoy HARP in its current state for sure, and maybe even 2.3.2, thank you for being so caring of what the future of my class hold.

Im sure everyone's sarcasm detector is apparently broken as everyone's been involved in the previous thread. (since boardwarrior is so concerned of digging it up, and you bringing it back too) And him calling me thick skin while he isnt any different himself doesnt deny my rights to call him thick skin, or apparently being delusional. So PERHAPS you're the delusional one?

And as i said on the previous post, apparently i cried to the mod and apparently the posts i made arent debations/arguments, they suddenly all turned transparent and hollowed and/or ended up being mod cries. Just for the sake of the overused sarcasm trend - /endsarcasm.

Out of a sudden im also a pvp maestro (ill be honest here, i dont even know the definition of this word, and suddenly i claim to be that. lol) Im sure it also helps to go post up elitistjerks/gameriot forums of something i never even claim to be. If anything, from time to time i did claim myself being superior to those that are trying to have a dispute with me over this board, and had proven to be of what i claimed every single time to this date.

I can slightly see that already from the video, especially with the alliance gathered around him on WSG roof biggrin.gif

Much props still on those moves. Something so simple yet so amusing at the same time hehe.

btw, we CAN replicate the same moves, with lowerping.com/linux routing/registry fixes, pings can go as low as 200ish and the delay from 200ish pings are VERY low, and low enough to execute said moves for most of the time.

All his videos are very entertaining. Him and Monkeysama (both Alliance)made some of the most hilarious and interesting rogue pvp videos I've ever seen. I may be biased since they are on my server but there are truly some laugh out loud moments when I watched them.

Googlevideo only have one of Lawson's video and it's pre-TBC:

I agree completely. Reminds me of Ming.

I don't think anyone on the forums (generally anyway) will disagree that Quaz is a pretty good player, and similarly with Ming (well, I'm actually guessing here -- never really fought him before). But man, do they have large egos lol. But whatever, I don't really care and if anything, makes the forum a lot more interesting to read for the drama!

So far I've only seen evidence of ownage on a non-factor battlegroup against teams of lesser quality and not to forget the countless BG ownage against noobs.

well. i may have post them on somewhere that doesnt matter (say, here on LYN forums)
but end of the day, i posted em.

you... where are they? where are your achievements in pvp? i dont see anything. if you dont have anything in a place that dont even matter, what makes me over you? your god? now now. im not making any implications that i am your god, just putting some logics for you to think through before you go balls deep on a suicide mission here.

is lol a noun? and isn't I'm = I am? seriously... my brain cells were committing suicide every time i try to reread that sentence. with such level of intelligence, i very highly doubt your credibility to masturbate... let alone play wow

Yup, you guys are all masters of the English language. You win at life and everything else that matters. Is there nothing else you can find fault with besides that poorly written line?

Horrible capitalization. Multiple uses of "...". Missing punctuation. Usage of "were" as past tense and "try" as present tense in the same pretext.

Credibility is a prerequisite of masturbation?

Last but not least, I'm certain you have NEVER used "lol" before seeing as how it is one of those so rarely used terminologies online. Confirm/deny?

Oh, as did you.

Difference being that your logic about how a person had to be credible in order to masturbate had no known rebuttle to mankind since clearly it appears that your typing ability is completely flawless minus your edit on the past plural indicative which warranted a doctorate in modern english; so I had no choice but to pick on your typing.

There was no need to butt in on the "discussion" with your english grammar class which had little to do with the thread in hand (much less add to), and I was merely returning the favor.

hi mimi... merry christmas. I'm still in the holiday mood, thinking if I should pull off a "pretend-i'm-so-sick" stunt in the office and call the next 2 days off on MC.

finally managed to watch it, just the damn page itself taking a long time to "load"

overall good vid, pretty entertaining. wouldnt say i wasnt moved to try out lolstep... however in reality, with latency issues around backstab/lack of autoproc crips/tri poison, requiring more buttons (which brings back to latency) to press etc etc.

i can say i am pretty much done with lolstep lol, until something significant is done by blizz
