does anyone else have this problem after playing for some time?

my pinky can't bend properly, and when i try to bend it, it turns out crooked! I can even hear and feel a little jolt when I try to make it normal again.

is the problem that i dun curl my pinky finger enough? coz it looks a little flat when I play..

Well its hard to visualise what are you talking about.

Well probably its a strain due to excessive playing? tongue.gif

You need physical therapy for your fingers.

Otherwise, get some equipment such as the gripmaster and use it properly.

I crack my fingers a lot, so my fingers look a bit f*cked up. Middle finger crooked. It doesnt get in the way of playing guitar, so it should matter I suppose?

I fractured my ring finger too sometime ago. Used to be a b**** to press those strnigs but it's okay now after ALOTTA pain. No pain no gain I suppose. It is also crooked and shorter than before. And it never seem to be dexturous enough, it always react slower than I wanted. Sometimes it is damn frustrating but WTH. Tips to guitarist: PROTECT YOUR FINGERS AT ALL COST!!

gripmaster is a little thingy you can (duhh) grip.
Basically it's designed that each finger has an individual spring that it has to press down. Eventually it evens out the strength in your fingers.

I got mine for about rm 64. You could probably get it cheaper than me.

THere're a few types.

Red = medium tension which is what I got.

the rest are of lighter tension than red.

Yes, works for me lah, i started out right away with medium tension. They do sell an even higher tension but it's rare.

If you got bad injuries, best to start with lower tension.

Whats the point of gripmaster, when you can actually practice it on the real thing? >_>

Gripmaster gives you results faster, in less than 1 week.

You know you improved when you could press the thing with your pinky firmly.

How many of you people with the real thing even bother with your pinky ?

You can only push your pinky so far on the guitar.

What you need is proper finger strength that isn't just on the fingers but your arm tendons as well.
