Hi LYN musicians, smile.gif

As you all know I am new to this forum and I am looking to get my electric guitar...
I am seeking advice/knowledge on how to order from Ishibashi...

I have heard many good experience with them, but by searching online there is not much info on how to order from them and there is no topic like this in this forum history so I thought of making a new one.
There is only one thread in jamtank but somehow some SQL error prevented me from replying or making a new topic...

Can some experienced fellow forumer that have order from them before please share on how to order from them? This will really help all the fellow forumers here including new ppl like me...

I am sure when ordering online for the first time we are all unsure of the below items...perhaps someone can answer them?

1)steps,
2)procedure,
3)custom contact numbers,map
4)paying methods,
5)tax,
6)hidden costs etc
7)collection of the goods
8)advice/tips

I have done the first step sending an email to them yesterday asking for quotation but no reply until now. sigh.... sad.gif

The translated english website isnt accurate so its hard to really understand... rclxub.gif

Once I finally got my guitar I will post the steps on how and what I did and experienced from ordering with them. smile.gif

Thanks!!

I've not personally dealed with Ishibashi before but I read about it before.

Note down the type/brand/model no and then email ishibashi to ask for availability, once they confirmed its available, its your call to purchase or not, if you decide to purchase, they'll email you a secure link to enter your credit card details, alternatively you can do a telegraphic transfer (TT) but it attracts an additional charge of about RM20 and its slower to process =)

Like iuohkok said, send them an email saying which type/brand/model no you want. Then Ishibashi should reply within 1-2 business days and tell you if they have it. If so, they'll also tell you what the payment/collection procedure will be. By credit card or TT only if I remember correctly.

Once payment is made, they'll notify you of when they are shipping it and the EMS tracking number.

Once it reaches Malaysia, Pos Malaysia I think will send you a letter notifying you that it's ready to be picked up. Rest of the info is in the thread iuohkok mentioned, I think.

just checked your shipment more often and call Pos Malaysia..My Guitar arrived in abt 4 days but the letter came after a week..but i called them and asked them to track using the tracking code..you would most likely need to collect it at Pos Malaysia near LCCT Terminal or you can get their post guys to send them to u but its gonna cost you...all the best
