Serangga la..

But if you want the numbers, 20-100 normal/superbright/ultrabright LEDs of any colour will consume the same power as 1 casing fan. 6-20 casing fans consume as much power as a non-overclocked processor/graphic card. Do the math.. icon_rolleyes.gif

80, 92 or 120mm will do. Assuming aroung 0.5-1.5A per fan.

I stand corrected-I forgot to factor in the difference in voltage.. sweat.gif

So the correct figure is actually 100-500 LEDs equals to 1 fan..rest of what I said is correct. laugh.gif

assuming ur LED is SuperBright Blue LED .... sweat;

Standard 30mA 2.5V
High intensity 30mA 5.5V
Super bright 30mA 2.5V
Low current 30mA 2.0V

Power = Volt * Ampere
Power = 5.5 * 0.03
Power = 0.165 Watt

Assume 1KW/J = RM 0.23 ...
Cost = 0.000165 * 0.23
Cost = RM 0.00003795 per Hour

RM 0.10 for 263,504.61 hours (33.8 years)

ps: i go bankrupt if wan to make business for this length duration.

slightly .. hot .. if u got bout 30LED it's 1-2 deg celcius ambient .. get a fan all clear ..

but as i know .. if u got a good power supply which is 80PLUS conversion efficiency .. then u'll save power .. but get those cheapo power supply, the conversion is worst .. 60% or so .. the rest all burn in heat ..

Not a chance..unless you happen to be using lots of 1 watt luxeon LEDs. But then you'll need super dark sunglasses even if you want to on your PC.. 1 luxeon is like staring into a car highlights at less than 10cm.. shocking.gif
