Hi there smile.gif
I am currently planning to buy an iCute CPU casing.
Do u have any comments on this brand?
Another thing is i found out is tht the price of mini tower casing is actually more expensive than the middle tower ohmy.gif . How come ya?
Wht is the advantage of a mini tower casing?

I am aiming for these:
a) 0701SL

b) ZL08

In ur opinion, which 1 is better (in terms of Power Supply, Power Saving, Heat Dissipation, etc.) ? Or u may suggest other models ? smile.gif

Thanks.

What is your budget? If you have some extra money, I suggest going for other brands. iCute isn't very reliable in terms of durability

Are you planning to buy with or without PSU?

Anyway I'm using iCute S901 Casing + iCute 450W PSU it works fine and durable enough!!

Its very BULKY allowing a lot of air-flow inside, and also has options for 3x120cm intake fans and 2x120cm exhaust fans!

You've gotta watch your specs to buy the PSU though!!!

i wanna ask, the word "Optional" in the website (as shown in the pic above) means what ? Is it mean tht it dun come with a fan but hv to buy seperately?

Yes! I bought mine with 450W PSU @ Thundermatch Technology, LY for RM240.00, the casing doesn't come with any fans.. but later I purchased 2 coolermaster led fans 120cm for intake and and normal 2x8cm iCute ones to be fitted @ the back for exhaust.

I'm running a C2D E6550 @ 3.29GHz with stock cooler, and air circulation is good enough in my casing to control the temp around 30 when idle and max of 41 under load!!

You can have a look @ iCute S901 and see if it suits for you!! But if you planning to run a liquid cooling system you might wanna have a look @ others that are design for that!!

Mini towers are more expensive because they are rarer, and need to use a more carefully planned design to fit a typical desktop PC's parts inside a smaller space. You basically pay extra for the 'mini' factor, and also because its produced in lower quantities.

Mostly people buy mini towers for esthetics (the akucomel factor). Even so, be careful when choosing a mini tower, majority will not fit a normal ATX board, or will have trouble with certain large expansion cards (especially high-end GFX). Always bring yur hardware along to test fit before you buy.

im not sure la bro...
but only this icute got side panel transparent...
go to sri comp and ask to give some discount and u will get around rm230 with icute psu...
then here the secret, u can sell the icute psu (sri sell same icute psu for rm110) on the lowyat trade topic for rm50(many people will surely take it ma...) thumbup.gif ...
so the cost for the casing now only rm180...
its cheap lorr n nice also... thumbup.gif

I will say Centurion 5(RM200) and Acbel 390W(RM118) but that will out of your budget.
