The M8 will be release for sales during X'mas time. That was told by one of the Meizu agent in Shenzhen. I have a quick looked at the phone 2 days ago and it is quite similar to Iphone. However I am not sure the phone will have google map feature as the phone didn't have much app installed on it.

I reckon Meizu is having problem with production, therefore they are only releasing small lot to their agents in china. If the M8 sells well in China, then most likely you will have plenty of chinese apps available in the future.

Meizu8 has already obtained the license from their Govt. The news was announced in their official forum.
