today went to meizu booth at Pc Fair. When i ask when will you guys bring M8? One of the promoter (seem like the boss over there) write down my number and name, and told me that the device will arrive in Jan/Feb 2009. They will call me as soon is the device is here.

M8 is already start selling in China for a quite while but only as Demo since the didn't obtain the Network License from the Gov. But if you are talking about availability in Malaysia, this is something i am not really sure. I have contact the IMD SDN BHD but they didn't give me the exact date of when the M8 will be available here.

it can't be used for video calling since there is no 3G tech included in the phone.
Next version of Meizu M9 will have 3G capability. |

Jagadis Meizu is not that kind of company, well the M8 might be an inspiration from the Iphone but it is not a copy of Iphone, if you read the Spec sheet then you will know as for the UI i don't think it resemble 100% iphone, heck there is a new UI coming up as it's completely different from the current one. So there wont be anymore talk like "Meizu copy iphone UI and blah blah blah"
