Guys....did any of you change your graphic card cooler?
Budget isn't an issue but the CARD IS FREAKING HOT.

idle around 60 degrees....Load <= i didnt check but heck the card is HOT.
Would love to hear some suggestions. Please I know many ppl have asked this but I need some help in cooling down this card.

I'm using ASUS 8800GT (non TOP version)
*
it seems that, they aren't many that is using a vga cooler for their 8800gt.

but anyhow, i'm looking forward to getting one.

ARCTIC COOLING ACCELERO S1 HEATPIPE  about RM115 from Zamree/Moderno
but I want to get my PC fixed up first. my damn pc is shutting down and restarting itself after 1 sec

yea..the reason why i chose that? it seems its pretty good for the price.
I plan to get fans for it of course. I doubt passive cooling will do much but ....its always better to have a fan blowing it.

Google for that cooler..its good stuff.

but for now..I pray and hope my PC is fine.

my x2 4000 already at its limit for my vcore.  Wouldnt like increasing more due to temps.  Would OC-ing the card more would generate more points and in what range?  maybe 200-300 marks?
*
your card is on bottle neck. overclock the 8800gt only when you had the fans 100% all the time or get a new vga cooler. but then your 3dmark won't increase much due to the bottleneck.

they absorb and sent it out to airspace =/

Do  you think that the aluminum case can dissolve the heat just like that? laugh.gif
*
an aluminum case plays a significant role of heat resistance. if your mobo is hot, so is everything else in it and the closest hardware to the chassis is the mobo. do the math
