Whoa...I don't even own a 8800GT yet. Still contemplating to either buy this or the 8800GTS.

Buy the 8800GT I'd say and save some cash for other stuffs. It's performance does not differ much with the GTS 512MB icon_rolleyes.gif

Yeah, well...GTS is having drivers issue now. So you really can't judge it as it is now. Wait till January and see how the OC goes, and then, I'll make my purchase.

1024x768 reso? I'm using 7900GS and can put all high settings without a problem thumbup.gif

8800GT 256MB would be more than adequate for you. If put 512MB will probably overkill. icon_rolleyes.gif

He's just giving some opinion. Some might favor to save cash and just use normal brand like Colorful etc. icon_rolleyes.gif

And, yes. Do agree that XFX, BFG, etc does make excellent cards on the market. Just have to fork out a lil' bit more to have your hands on these. icon_rolleyes.gif

Buy 1 8800GT 512MB also can play Crysis smoothly. icon_rolleyes.gif

It depends on other factors too, processor, RAM etc. And what resolution would you be using? 1280 x 768 won't be a problem at all for the 8800GT laugh.gif
