Buy the 8800GT I'd say and save some cash for other stuffs. It's performance does not differ much with the GTS 512MB

Yeah, well...GTS is having drivers issue now. So you really can't judge it as it is now. Wait till January and see how the OC goes, and then, I'll make my purchase.

wanna ask, the performance diff between 256mb and 512mb big or not? i'm not a high reso gamer, i can bare with 1024, 1280, so 256mb will be sufficient for me?

yes... if you can bare with 1024x768 and not going for higher monitor... sure.. 256mb will be sufficient

8800GT 256MB would be more than adequate for you. If put 512MB will probably overkill.

Yo people, I don't even own a 8800GT and I'm not Topic Starter, so don't post them specs out cause I'm not going to be able to pin them up.

Normal temperature for using the stock HSF for 8800GT. Yeah, it's kinda hot.

any brand? are u nut? i sure wont go for those chapalang 1 like colorful, eagle, or even not so chapalang msi using cheap board & components.

Any GOOD brand will do Say, Asus, XFX, BFG, EVGA...

I'm thinking to upgrade my GC with 2X colourful 8800GT 256MB in SLi mode = RM580X2=RM1160 or i buy new 8800GTS 512MB = RM1200++ ... Do u guys think can play crysis smoothly?

That's hard to say. What are your specs and what resolution and details are you aiming?

Buy 1 8800GT 512MB also can play Crysis smoothly.

It depends on other factors too, processor, RAM etc. And what resolution would you be using? 1280 x 768 won't be a problem at all for the 8800GT

CPU= 1.86GHz C2D
RAM= 2GB

Reso= 1024X768 or higher
Details= High/Very High
