Look at all my stars!!
|
Greetings,
I've forgotten where I saw it but there is a forum where it displays the previous page's last post on the next page. For an example in LYN, on top of Page 2, it will first display Page 1 Post 20th before displaying Page 2 Post 21st.
I think LYN may consider this idea as well.
The reason why I come out with this suggestion is because I find out that many people seem to ignore the last post of previous page when they are reading the current one. To certain extent, some people will try to refrain themselves from posting the last post of the page (yes, I'm one of them, sometimes) because it is wasting the effort to post when nobody cares.
If you guys have problem understanding what I mean, I will try to search back for the forum I visited before.
Any comments are welcomed.

No no no... For example, Page 1 will still contain 20 posts. It just that the last post will be "displayed" (not "moved") on the next page as a reference.

seems like the same function as Outline|Standard|Linear at the top right of your page whereis Outline and Linear function will still maintain the very 1st post

This is a good idea, but you'll need to persuade se7en about it hehe... I agree that there are a lot of repeated posts and we're all guilty of it in a certain manner.
