This story is kinda 'small' and doesn't involve any problems in exchanging money...yet...
Cast: Me, yuri, and sandw|ch.

One of yuri's many threads in the garage sale is the (WTB)Office Spoilt Scrap Computer ,Monitor,CPU,ETC. My office just upgraded some of the monitors to LCD and we have a few monitors to throw away. I found yuri's thread and asked him to take the monitors instead of me throwing them away. Our PM conversation is as follows:


friendly person...no problems with him. But suddenly sandw|ch comes in and say this...


I thought he was a colleague of yuri and asked for my location but I replied with the objective of trying to get more value from the scrap monitors. He never replied. So, I PM him again...I think on the 4th Dec. His reply again was asking for my location.



I just gave him my company address and handphone number. A week passed and no call from this guy. I sent a PM to both him and yuri. This is what yuri replied to me



I have no idea what this sandw|ch is trying to do...but everyone pls be careful with this guy. He has other sale threads...maybe that's where my handphone number went to...

what make u think i m yuri's collegue ? if yuri wants to deal with u. he would have PM u using his ID or i would have PM u sayin i m yuri's friend. thats y i din bother to take d monitors as i got 2 know its from yuri's thread. i din even call u after u pm me ur number.

This is not a dispute. And thanks for the warning though.
Though this sandwich guy might be complicated , but he did not wrong.
You should be more cautious in dealing next time k ?
Like check if his the same guy or a friend of the guy u initially wanted to deal with ,
a question wouldn't hurt =) ! dun predict .. get the facts straight
then problems like this wouldn't happen ..

Yeap..I don't think there's a dispute here. Just a little misunderstanding. Are the monitors still with you? If so, then there are no loss to either parties.

i did not take d monitors. as he told me til friday he wil wait. if no one takes. he wil throw. so i tot maybe let yuri take. if he dun take. i wil ask my friend 2 collect . thats all.

bro check my tradelist, i dun wan 2 con ppl.

like its mentioned in the title...its just a "warning". All I lost was a little private information. Could be dangerous in the future but at least its not Credit Card info

Why would u suddenly PM someone like "i will collect from u" and without any story?
Dont say Aeon_Clock thought u are with yuri but if i got that PM, i will think the same.
I think u should be more careful about the way u post...it makes ppl misunderstood.
