my option would be, buy a cooler like thermalright or zalman, why? thats the same price or probably half to what youre going to spend for a new E series. The pentium D 8 series is the smithfield core which is suppose to be a good overclocker. Anyways, besides the point, get yourself what i suggested and cool it down, AND enjoy:) hehe

well alien has a point but he is not correct though about the cooling bit. The Pentium D is warmer than the current C2D due to the higher TDP(Thermal Design Power)

even at stock bro, the idle temps are way too high for pentium D in comparison with current C2D:)

ac freezer is an awesome cooler, best bang for the buck:) hehe yop it up with arctic cooling mx-2/// wooot!
